We specialize in custom epoxy surfaces, furniture and functional art. Our work includes epoxy countertops, floors, walls and backsplashes, custom tables and furniture, commercial installations, and floral and memorial preservation pieces.

We also work with locally fabricated metal, Manitoba wood and other materials to create pieces that are completely unique.

Where are you located?

Artified is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and we work throughout Winnipeg and surrounding areas. For certain custom, commercial and specialty projects, we're happy to discuss projects outside Manitoba as well.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Send us photos, approximate measurements, your location and an idea of what you're hoping to create. For more complex projects, we may need to schedule a site visit before providing final pricing.

Can you match a specific colour or design?

Absolutely. That's one of our favourite parts. Epoxy can be customized with colour, movement, metallic effects, veining and other finishes. We can create samples to help you visualize the finish before your project begins.

Do you work with designers, architects and contractors?

Yes. We love collaborating with designers, architects, builders, contractors and commercial clients. We can provide samples and work with your project's design requirements to develop a custom finish.

Can epoxy go over my existing countertops?

Often, yes. Epoxy can be installed over many existing surfaces, including laminate, tile, concrete and properly prepared wood. We'll assess the existing surface to determine whether it's a good candidate.

Do I have to remove my existing countertops?

Not necessarily. One of the advantages of epoxy resurfacing is that we can often transform an existing surface without completely replacing it, reducing demolition and waste.

Are epoxy countertops durable?

Yes. Epoxy creates a durable, non-porous surface that's well suited to everyday use. Like any finished surface, it isn't indestructible, so we recommend cutting boards, trivets and normal care to keep it looking its best.

Can you make epoxy look like stone or marble?

Yes, but we aren't limited to imitation stone. We can create marble-inspired veining, metallic movement, dramatic abstract finishes or something completely original to your space.

Do you do epoxy walls and backsplashes?

Yes. Epoxy can be used to create seamless statement walls, backsplashes and custom shower panels, giving you a highly customized surface without traditional grout lines.

Where can epoxy flooring be installed?

Depending on the existing substrate and conditions, epoxy flooring can work beautifully in basements, garages, commercial spaces, studios, offices and other residential or commercial environments.

Can epoxy be installed over existing tile?

In some situations, yes. The tile needs to be secure and properly prepared to create a suitable surface for the epoxy system. We'll assess the floor before recommending installation over an existing finish.

What styles of epoxy flooring do you offer?

We create metallic and decorative epoxy floors as well as more practical flooring systems. The finish can range from subtle and sophisticated to bold, high-movement designs.

Are epoxy floors slippery?

They can be when a very smooth finish is used, particularly when wet. Slip-resistant additives and finishing options are available depending on where the floor is being installed and how the space is used.

How long does an epoxy floor take to install?

It depends on the size of the space, existing floor condition, preparation required and finish selected. We'll provide an expected installation and curing timeline with your quote.

Do you make custom furniture?

Yes. Through Artified and our CALU custom furniture line, we create one-of-a-kind tables, desks, benches, feature pieces and other custom furniture using combinations of wood, epoxy and locally fabricated metal.

Can I choose my wood, epoxy colour and base?

Yes. That's the whole point of custom. We work with you to choose the dimensions, wood, epoxy, colour, metalwork and overall design so the finished piece belongs in your space rather than feeling pulled from a catalogue.

Do you use local materials?

Whenever possible, we love incorporating Manitoba wood and locally fabricated metal. We also look for opportunities to use unique or diverted wood that might otherwise be discarded.

Can you incorporate meaningful materials into a piece?

Definitely. Flowers, meaningful wood and other sentimental elements can sometimes be incorporated into furniture or preservation pieces. Tell us the story first and we'll figure out what's technically possible.

Can you preserve wedding or funeral flowers?

Yes. We create custom preservation pieces using flowers from weddings, funerals, anniversaries and other meaningful moments.

Do my flowers need to be fresh?

The sooner we receive them, the better. Fresh flowers generally give us the most options for preservation, but contact us even if your flowers have already begun drying. We can determine what's still possible.

Will my flowers look exactly the same after preservation?

Flowers naturally change during drying and preservation. Colours may deepen, soften or shift slightly. Rather than trying to make them look artificial, we work with those natural changes to create a piece that honours the original flowers.

Can you create something other than a traditional resin block?

Absolutely. Preservation doesn't have to live on a shelf. Depending on the flowers and project, we can explore functional or artistic pieces that make the preserved material part of your home.
